Training with Jenn

Classical foundations, patient coaching, and a plan that takes you and your horse further than you thought you could go.

Philosophy

A classical foundation, then everything on top of it

Jenn's system starts with a solid foundation of classical dressage basics: rhythm, relaxation, and connection. The upper-level work is built on top of that base. She's calm and patient in the ring, and she believes every horse-and-rider pair can do more than they think.

Many of her students have moved up the levels and earned USDF recognition with her in their corner.

Ways to train

Find the right fit for you and your horse

No two riders are on the same path. Whether you want your horse in full work or a lesson a week, Jenn will help you build a plan that makes sense.

Show-ready

Practice like you compete

The outdoor is a regulation dressage arena with a judge's booth at C, which makes it the perfect place to run through a full test before you ever load the trailer.

Schooling the whole pattern at home, with the letters, the centerline, and a booth at C, takes a lot of the mystery out of show day.

Clinics

Fresh eyes, right at home

Avastar regularly hosts clinics with visiting trainers, including Miguel Anacoreta and Roel Theunissen, the same trainer Jenn rides with herself. Clinics are a great way to get fresh eyes on your riding and keep building, without ever leaving the barn.
