The barns
Two barns, built around the horse
The main barn holds thirteen European-style open stalls, with six more in a second, smaller barn. Rubber mats run through every stall and aisle, and the barn stays comfortable in every season. Ceiling fans over each stall keep the air moving through the summer heat, and where the horses live it generally never drops below freezing, even in a proper New England winter.
There's a hot-and-cold wash stall and, yes, a real heated bathroom with real plumbing. The European open fronts let horses see and socialize with their neighbors safely, which makes for calmer, happier horses.

Turnout & grounds
Room to be a horse
Every horse gets daily turnout in its own private paddock, weather permitting. Individual turnout keeps horses safe and gives each one space to relax, roll, and stretch out.
Beyond the paddocks there's a mowed bridle path to hack around, hay fields to ride in, and plenty of grass for hand-grazing on a nice afternoon.

Your own space
A tack locker with real room
Every boarder gets a spacious, wide, double-door tack locker: room for your saddles, bridles, blankets, and all the rest, kept clean and close to your horse.
It's a small thing that makes barn life easier every single day.

The community
More than a place to keep your horse
Boarding at Avastar comes with a community of riders at every level, working toward all kinds of goals, all genuinely rooting for each other. Boarders stick around to hang out after rides, summer brings cookouts and barn parties, and everyone's wins get celebrated together, whether they happen in the saddle or in life. In a sport with plenty of ups and downs, that kind of support matters as much as anything on the care list.
“Jenn and her team treat your horse like their own. That's what sets Avastar apart.”
