Trainer & Owner
Jennifer Czechowski
Jenn built Avastar Dressage on classical principles, the same foundation that runs through her own riding and everything she teaches. As an instructor she's calm, patient, and quietly ambitious for her students: many have moved up the levels, earned USDF recognition, and been coached by Jenn at championship competitions.
A USDF bronze and silver medalist, Jenn has competed through Prix St. Georges on clients' horses. These days her focus is on helping her riders chase their goals. She trains with Roel Theunissen and has ridden in clinics with Ann Guptill, Rita Brown, Lynn Kimball-Davis, Karl Mikolka, Sandy Osborn, Claudia Tarlov, and Robert Zandvoort.
Before going out on her own, Jenn spent years as assistant trainer and barn manager for Delante Dressage, owned by Lou Denizard. In 2008 she founded Avastar Dressage, naming it for her first dressage partner Avastar, known around the barn as Harry.

Bree has managed the barn at Avastar for five years, and she's a big part of why the horses look and feel as good as they do.
Between Jenn, Bree, and their barn team, every horse gets noticed, every single day. It's that steady, hands-on attention that boarders notice first and come to count on.

Avastar is based at Lepore Farm, a classic New England equestrian property on Angell Road in Lincoln, Rhode Island, just minutes from Providence and an easy drive from southeastern Massachusetts.

Horse sport comes with real ups and downs. Progress arrives in waves, setbacks sting, and it's easy to get discouraged along the way. What carries you through is the people around you, and that's where Avastar shines. This is a barn where everyone genuinely cheers for everyone else.
You'll find every kind of rider here, at every level of experience, working toward all kinds of goals. What you won't find is anyone looking down on where somebody else is in the journey.
It shows in the little things. Boarders linger after rides just to hang out. Summer brings barn parties and cookouts, and when someone has a win worth celebrating, in the saddle or in life, the whole barn turns out for it.
A down-to-earth, encouraging atmosphere in a place this beautiful, with care and training this good, is hard to come by in the horse world.
